I'm working on redesigning my logo. My first idea is to just use my initials rather than coming up with a nebulous mark. I like this combination but I may keep sketching out ideas to see if anything else will come out of it. Any thoughts? Preferences between the two?
I like the second one better. Would be much easier to distinguish in B/W. Try moving the "separator" line to the right a bit more so that the E is more apparent.
Yeah, I'm leaning toward the second one as well. It's nothing earth shattering but I like the simplicity. I'm going to work on the contrast and readability of the mark and rebound it.

Throwing in my vote for option #2. This is really nice. I'm not sure what constitutes "earth-shattering" but simple solutions are often the best.
I agree with Jesse - I'd move the separator to the right a bit and make the E and B more equal.

I think I'm happy with this version. Thanks for the suggestions!
I've chosen a supporting color palette and am finally starting on my site redesign.
