Beautiful mark! If you're going for legibility, I agree with Kevin. Might be that the x-height is a bit too high. If you're not worried about legibility, I really dig the mark.
And thanks for not disgracing it with the Liberty Bell, the skyline, Rocky, or cheesesteaks.

I'm going to echo Kevin's comment about the counters being thing enough to throw off readability slightly. If they were a tiny bit wider it might do the trick!
Also wondering whether or not the shapes across the top of the M should be slightly rounder. I don't have an issue with the angle, since I think it adds a good amount of interes. The consistency across the tops of the letters would be nicer I think :)

Gatorade logo comes to mind. Agree on the readability concerns, but maybe that's a good thing - feels more 'exclusive'.

I agree with these guys. Pretty hard to read the P and the M. Could get lost even more when placed on other types of backgrounds. Solution could be a color change, spacing them out more or just a different treatment to the letters. Lots of ways play with this I think. Should be fun.
I think the ascenders of the b and d could come out a bit more too.
Can't wait to see what you put up next!

C- Wonderful mark. There is legibility issue but I think that can be corrected without too much trouble. Maybe adjust the counters and kerning a tiny tiny bit. You also may want to consider adjusting the angles of the tops of the M's. I know it adds interest but it also competes a little. Overall a great mark and one that Philly should be proud of. Looking forward to seeing the final.

Love this. Not sure why, but I'd love to see the ascender of the "h" at the same height of the "P." At first glance, it didn't read as well as I think it could. Just a thought.
