I have been dreaming of creating a design collective for a number of years and it's finally getting close to becoming a reality. One of our biggest issues has been what to call the space as this will be quite important in unifying everyone and making it easy to promote what we're doing more widely. We've played around with "The Brough's Building" (because that's the name of the building we're in), "Studio 113" (which we feel is a little cliché), "The Collective", "The Space" and more. But, as we're situated on Bridge Street (in Nelson, New Zealand), I'm now playing with "The Bridge Street Collective". Would love any thoughts on this.
