I like the drop shadow on the logo, but like everyone else I also love the current design. Perhaps just implementing small, new elements to the current design would be enough of a refresher?

@Henry Are you talking about the amount of iterations? If so, design in general. It is limited by the time/budget/scope of a project and client/user feedback. For personal work, there's nothing but your own available time to hold you back, and the fact that I am never satisfied when I design for myself.

The current design HAS to stay! Do what I do and just make small adjustments to the current design, comes out much better :)
