   So I know it's August 8th, but we're going back in time to the beginning of the month and tryin' to catch up.

   August 1: MTV debuted on this day back in 1981. "The original purpose of the channel was to play music videos guided by on-air hosts known as VJs". We all know how that ended up.

   I remember they used to do those little :10 second spot animation bumpers of the logo. I could totally see this as a stop motion of you making this thing.
