A final sketch for a logotype I've been working on for a few weeks. Any glaring issues you'd suggest tweaking before I finalize? Been looking at this thing for too damn long. :)
Ok, another thought. Everything looks incredibly smooth and together...and that little notch within the counter of the 'd' bothers me. I know that it is the curve of the top of the 'd' going back into itself...but it seems a bit out of place when compared with the rest of the letters. Other than that, maybe raise the crossbar on the lower case 't's and open up the kerning a tiiiiiiiny bit to give the letters a bit more breathing room?
It's shaping up to be a beautiful piece. Can't wait to see the finished one.
Maybe pull the bottom of the first 't' down so that the space is more equal to the other negative spaces between letters. Unless that is intentional. Looks really nice as is though.
What is the spike bit inside the bowl of the d? The two things I'm not in favour is the X is a bit over the top in terms of size. And the cross bar on the first t feels too long.
Great flow to this. I actually like the little spike inside the bowl of the 'd' for the character it adds to the mark. Possibly visually heavy in the n-d area due to the relatively tight spacing there. Overall really nice feel.
Really nice ! If I had to change something, maybe I would make the X's swash smaller, since its a logotype it could create some problems when you'll have to make it live with other elements in a layout or something. Otherwise, everything looks so clean !
I decided to try out a couple alternate directions with this logotype. The more I looked at it the less I liked it, so I knew I couldn't deliver it like that.
I started with my green Tombow brush pen, built the letters from that and then continued to refine.

I want to see it filled in, to better examine the color of these really nicely drawn forms.

I only have one thought: this is beautiful!

I really love this typeface. On the smaller thumbnail however I thought the x was a y at first glance.

This is awesome! I agree with Nikita. The notch on the "d" is a little off, but I can't wait so see a finished version. Great Job!

I don't know dude... I can't find any flaws. Really, really good in my opinion. For real, probably one of my favs.

As I feel, the n looks a bit wider than others, and it looks more “white” — the counter is bigger than in the other letters.

Stop bragging and do the whole thing already! :)

Gorgeous Ryan, looks very smooth, also feel the X could be a tad smaller, and you could try the d normal.
Amazing job my friend!

Big shots of each stage in the attached strip.
