The orange sliver underneath reads to me as part of the dolphin, as opposed to negative or background space. It makes him look a little large around the middle.
Love the style, though.

I'd say keep the helmet on the dolphin in this style and this becomes a legitimate improvement in pushing the brand forward

As a Dolphins fan, I'd buy everything they'd slap this logo on. I've always loved the original logo and hated the new one. This one brings together the best of both.

As a lifelong Dolphins fan and season ticket holder, I'll voice my honest opinion. I like all the elements, and like it more than most of the options I've seen. It just feels a little heavy on the right and could be more symmetrical. The dynamic on the dolphin is great.
