I really like how the sign up button looks indented, but I am having some reservations about a button being indented and not, uh...button like.

@Taddeo, Yes, there are in fact some rounded corner in there. This is a alternative design from what you last saw. Just a little bit of softness. Your feminine side rubbed off on me a bit, wait, that sounds wrong...

I guess it depends on your audience - I don't need something to look like a circa-2000 Aqua Mac OS X Public Beta button, but maybe my mom does? Who knows.
To me, the rounded shape and the text being an action "Sign Up" rather than something more vague like "Memberships" or "Accounts" makes it a button. And I like this one over the rebounds.
And count me in yet again on how awesome that background is. I was reminded of it when I watched the opening for the Fox program "Human Target" where watercolor-like blobs are prominent. I thought, "watercolor is the new black."
