Not sure about the twitter logo on the bird...I am still really early on in my exploration of how I am going to handle the twitter stream.

Agreed, I'd toss out the little icon. It's redundant. Looks very nice otherwise.

I almost used that exact bird illo in the exact same context, but the client shot it down. *boooooooo*

I'd say 'great minds' and all that, but I'd be giving myself too much credit. :)

Anyway, nicely done, sir- can't wait to see the final product.

My suggestion; Use a small twitter logo as a silhouette, and style it the same way as the bird and place it near the bird.

But if that doesn't look good then leaving the bird on it's own is still a fantastic option.

I think you could throw the twitter t in the bottom of the blue frame as a dark color or barely visible and get the point across. I like Liam's suggestion as well. What about putting the t in white where the icon is now so it knocks out the bird?

Besides that icon its looking stellar. Texture & color really are amazing.

Why not try the twitter icon in solid white and treat it as a reverse like you do the Squarespace logo below it?

I tried to compartmentalize the elements to help them grid out a bit and line up. I think it works for now. Does that even make sense?
