CSS3 Afternoon Clock

Converted the original shot to CSS3, and its a codecast, so you can play and view the entire process. Use some browser /except/ Chrome for now - sorry about that!
As soon as chrome supports the official linear/radial gradient syntax, it'll work fine in Chrome too!
