Another thought... I like the new treatment of the status icon at the bottom of the photo, but I miss the colored ring around the circle. I felt like it allowed you to process a number of the circles faster (visually) and from a distance. Now I feel like as though I have to specifically look at each one to see their status.

Interesting take! The yellow could work nicely for work submitted previous to a deadline, then have them change to green\red after the submission deadline.
