It looks good, but I'm not so sure about that blue button, since it reminds me a lot of Facebook. Try green.

How do people know they are signing up via Facebook, there is also no way to register, or remember login details, or select between Spotify & Facebook if they have legacy account.
But yeah, visually the added padding makes it look better.

It looks a lot cleaner but misses a lot of functionality. Like @Peter Tait already said. I also agree with because you don't have to sign in with Facebook, it is just a possibility.

It kills me that only two people pointed out that you've compromised functionality for an admittedly "better looking" interface.
As @Peter Tait and @Hidde van der Ploeg have already pointed out, it's very unclear that a user would have to use their facebook credentials in order to sign in. Additionally, the ability to have it remember your credentials once you've entered them is missing along with the ability to sign up for a new account.
I don't have a strong opinion on taking it upon yourself to re-design something that's been bothering you, I've done it myself, but at least try to think about how you'd improve both the visuals as well as the functionality.
