Logo/Icon Options Tried to experiment with a few design tools or elements used. I feel like it's too literal though. Thoughts? Comments?

@ErynnSaunders suggested a crest direction. I like the idea but am trying to keep it simple at the same time. Thoughts?

I'm generally not a fan of the trendy 'X' logos, but I think it works here because you made it unique. Looks nice!

Nice start! What about swapping out the pen for a blacksmith hammer? A nice complement to the anvil like the computer is to the pencil. I would also suggest finding something other than a computer screen. The other elements speak so the craft of using your hands.
