Very well done. One thought: I wonder if the knot/tying idea would be stronger and more impactful if the only ligature between the two words was created with the ends of the bow tie (rather than with the "e" and "k" as well).
thanks @Matt Warren - good idea!. I was going for the bow tie to figuratively tie around the neck with the letters, but perhaps I need to add "ends" of the tie by the bow to make that more visual.
i think Matt Warren is right about the ligatures...
terminating the 'e' 'k' connection would allow for the words to slide up next to one another a bit too.
It feels a little bit unbalanced... but this is great stuff!
