Visual identity & branding proposal for a Toronto-based loose leaf tea start-up.
Second of 4 concepts presented to the client.
Rather than inducing seizures with excessive detail about my rationale and process here, I encourage you to take a vacation day, and read my gargantuan Behance case study for this job.
Check the attachment to see some inspiration, sketches, and a few detailed shots.
Dig the style Jon! I hadn't seen the previous shot, but until I did I didn't realize that there was a p involved—it looked like a giant stylized question mark that read like "Stee This?" Love the direction though!
EDIT: I also love how you're able to show so much character and style through a simplistic approach—well done!
FYI, in the attachment, the showthrough you see on the mock letterhead was done intentionally. To coincide with the vintage comic book concept, I wanted to simulate these materials being printed on old newsprint, which was cheap and thin, and would naturally show high ink areas through the other side.
Another brilliant case study @Jon Stapp! I learn so much from each of your posts..thanks! My favorite would be concept 1..really captures the client brief well i think :)

Third of 4 concepts presented to the client.
Rather than having you glaze over a tl;dr rationale and process description here, I encourage you to fry your monitor's pixels by reading my stupendously voluminous Behance case study for this job.
