   First of all this looks great. However to give a few comments (just my thoughts) - The style is pretty retro, so I think the illustration should be a bit more retro as well. Try making the steps along the circle a bit shorter and maybe more square- Also try making the needle a bit thinner and slightly longer. The outer frame could be a bit thicker as well and maybe make the space between the inner and outer border/circle a bit smaller.

   I do feel it's a little too complex so I'm working on something a bit simpler.
