This looks really cool! Love the thinking behind the nav.
Nothing short of genius. Seems so organic. :)
Very impressive... might could use just a bit more speed so that in general use it doesn't start to feel like a delay in the usability of the app, and you might have the text field focus set immediately so the user doesn't need to do that one additional "tap".

The first animation is just a *little* too slow. But, man, this is really impressive :)
Will the user be able to flick upwards to re-access the previous menu.
Nice, but I would get rid of the last tap, have it automatically select that input field.
