    Nice solution! Really like it. I, too, would like to see it without the finger… maybe you could even try just 3 bars in that case so you get more impact from the check mark.

    Hmm, while that finger is excellently rendered, I think another option you could go for is the circle metaphor with motion blur as @Guillaume Gaubert mentioned, as seen on the Samsung Galaxy S3 or simulators of touch screens.

    @Pete White you're right, I also don't like overly-detailed iOS icons. While I was making this I had it streamed to my iPhone and it doesn't look too bad. Take a look yourself if you want to :3
