Has anyone mastered CS6's variable stroke width? I tried it for the first time last night and was really pleased. Obviously, I need more practice, but very cool.

Haven't tried it! Is it a new CS6 feature? I may have to investigate...

maybe CS5? (I jumped from CS4 to CS6, so its new to me). Either way, its pretty awesome. Each lettering sample is a single stroke width modified at certain points on the line to increase/decrease weight.

It was part of CS5. Gradient on Stroke is a CS6 feature. :)

I've tried this feature before. Do you talk about Photoshop CS 6? I think this feature was adopted from Illustrator CS5. The problem with this technique is that you can't edit the stroke using previous Ps version (CS5).

Lovely shot. Yep CS5, a real game changer though. I have CS4 at home and CS5/6 at work and its hard to adjust to home life without it!
