just wanted to get a gut-check on this guy.

Logo for a personal project I'm workin on, with a music-ish theme. Larger version for all you line-weight lovers.

something about the stroke joining the s and the k looks unnatural but other than that it's COMPLETELY beautiful I love the flow and the exclamation point crossing the t and stopping at the I is Beautiful. Something about that S tho

The S and the k looks very cool and different to me. Although such an calculated design choice makes me think that this part of the logo holds a lot of importance and meaning. I keep staring at it to see if I am overlooking a subtle hidden visual.

Good to see this one again, I really like it. The two dots are a really nice touch and I love the overall line weight and sense of space. The only areas that bug me a little are a few of the stroke widths (the 't-o' connection and 'o' loop feel quite light) and a few rigid/slightly awkward curves like between the 'n-t'. I like how smooth the 'S' and 'e' feel in particular, it just seems like the rest of the curves should keep the same kind of flow.
