Could be.The de Carteret family was British if im not mistaken,They could have been linked a couple generations back.hmm interesting!
This guys great grandfather was a pirate for the queen of England ( hence the armor and swords) and he was a pilot in WW2 (hence the propellers) and they have Bontebok on their farm...so i combined a number of elements from the Decarteret side, as well as there own family. Was real good fun.
