   i love the textures and all, but i think the whole icon looks really flat. maybe add some shadow of the stick and add some contrast to the black leather? bright on top dark below.

   Its awesome... but doesn't exactly scale too well. I think the main reason is the H pattern on top of the shift knob has a large emboss.

   I've had a driving application idea which this kind of icon would be perfect for.

   Very nice. Top of the gear knob looks very flat though. Some lighting and reflections will work to add some depth.
