I love the leather (especially the color) but I'm not feeling the wood. Leather and wood feels like furniture or car interiors to me, not a credit card app. Maybe the wood doesn't feel high end enough. It seems dull and soft. Maybe try giving it some gloss.

    Regardless, it's still solid work!

Great use of color, I think those would be close to complementary or inversions of each other.

    Thanks for the feedback everybody!
@Steve Lowtwait good observation. definitely something I'll keep in mind while I'm making changes :)

@Nigel Evans scaling it down for the shot doesn't do it justice. But good eye!

For what you do you do very very well. I must say though that I feel like I've seen this before. Not that you've copied anyone or anything like that...but that maybe the whole leather/wood scheme with the "Cardify" typeface is all too familiar because it's been done enough before. Could be a good thing or a bad thing depending on who your client is.

@Brian Simpson - i guess you could make that argument for a number of things. The way I see it, certain analogs go with certain desired user experiences. I'm not trying to reinvent the wheel every time I make an interface. I have to find a balance between the emotion I try and evoke to the user through the interface and the wants of the client mixed with what's right for the product. In this case, I decided to evoke a "premium feel" with the use of leather and wood textures. This, mixed with the intended audience, and what the app's intended use is, feels right to me. I don't get overly concerned with if it's been done before (excluding obvious visual cliches) so much as if it fits the project.
