   Clean as hell! I like those lines, they give just the right amount of order. I wouldn't mind seeing a light stroke on the avatars, but that's a personal preference I guess :)

   @Michiel de Graaf why should they be brighter? I think he made them lighter to emphasize the text more, its good balance of contrast.

    This is the nicest designed comments area I've ever seen. Since there's a lot of whitespace though, what happens when users reply to replies? You'd run out of space pretty quickly unless you only indented once.
