Have you thought about getting rid of that blue bar at the top? It feels distracting to me. The button and title placements are fine but I think putting them on the same level as the background would make the awesome looking photo albums look that much more awesome.

That is real beautiful. Love the attention to detail. Also love that while its awesome graphics they don't get int he way of excellent functionality.
As a side note, I'm an amateur iOS developer. How does one go about creating those custom animations like short curl on the photo and the opening of the book? If its not a trade secret perhaps a tip or link to a tip?

@Ryan Poolos, no it's not a secret. For most elements we have done a scene selection from PNGs files and some elements were done totally by developer. The secret is only in the code of such elements :)
@Donald Johns, we tried to creat not only a functional app but a nice one in using because we think that all photo apps in App Store are similar each other.

looks great! does a short tap 'unlock' the book as well? it seems a little tedious to have to hold the tap to open the book..
