Nice work man— runs off to order.
Hey Sean, can I ask what brand of tees you're using?
Hey @ampersandrew, feel free to check out the description here. =)
looks great sean. those hangtags are really cool.
rad work, love them!
Woops, forgot to 'like' this shot - the tag is awesome by itself! Where did you get the tags, by the way?
Thanks @Joseph! The tags you can get at any department store. My wife and I did the distressing/staining by hand. There's a number of methods, but after experimentation, we found great results from staining with a mix of columbian coffee (instant), warm/hot water and a dash of vanilla (for scent). They were then baked on each side (longer on the first side by a ratio of 2:1 — exact time will vary, but keep an eye on it), and finally impressed with the lettering design using a custom stamp. If you plan to try it yourself, get lots of extras, because you'll spend most of your time experimenting with the "recipe" and there will be many duds in the process until you get it just right. =)
Ha that's awesome! I've seen people use coffee and tea to stain anything from paper to clothing, but the vanilla is a great idea! Another sense added to the experience. That must have been a fun process, haha, thanks for the tips!
I would drool over those hang tags. Drool.
