Smallest project ever, but quite a fun one to redesign. This little project is like an evolution of the previous logo rather than a total reinvention.
They wanted to use the shield to represent strength and reliability (Ferza refers to Fuerza - Spanish for power / strength). I made the logo a bit more powerful by widen the overall shield shape and thicken those lines slightly. The two lines are meant to shape an 'F', which may be better seen in the examples on both sides. The wanted the blue line to show that they're thinking beyond others. The big logo in the middle is the one they preferred.
Great, now I have more reason to hate you. Is this the work of the shiny new toy? Actually, doesn't matter, God knows you are badass either way...
Must have been a difficult choice for the client to make no? Personally like the stylized version on the right. Wait, on the top. I mean, stage left... You get me right? :-)
@Modisana - Lol, once that giant Cintiq has been installed and wasting all of your desk space, I'm afraid there's no easy way back. Which means you have to deal it on every single occassion.
This is why I love logo work. Just the simple act of widening a line can have a dramatic impact. That is so clean all around! I would have a very hard time choosing between these.

I like the left one the most.. but I like that the right one looks more like a shield, but the center-aligned line kinda throws me off!
the middle one is good too, I just prefer the left one because the lines play so well together and the F is more visible to me!

Pretty good man, but I'm not sure about the F... For me it's more a detail or reflection on the shield. To my mind the first one is the best!
Great work man, congrats!
