Since it's been ages since I sketched the ideas for this I decided I just needed to sit down and get it done. After a late night of designing and plenty of coffee I ended up with this. Inspired by shop signs seen in the Clint Eastwood film Pale Rider.
Not too sure on how to make this into a working font so I'm still deciding what to do with it. Any advice on either what to do or on the design itself very welcome.
@Serji Gold Glad you noticed that too, I was having trouble distinguishing it as a K when it was extended to the top so dropped it down. Once uploaded I noticed a this size it's too small so I'll have to look for the middle ground, cheers for the advice.
@Daniel Keller Glad you don't think it's similer. I have massive respect for @Nick Slater and even checked during the design process to make sure I hadn't copied any of the styles he did on that awesome font. Although if he isn't happy that it's different I'd happily remove it.
I'm a little late here, but it's really nice to see this. Other than what's been mentioned about the 'K', the only other things that stood at out me were the 'S' and 'V'. I think the 'S' feels a little too simple compared to everything else. Perhaps it would work to add those little pointed bits to the horizontal bar, or simply an outer one on both verticals (like you've done on 'C', 'D', etc.)
For the 'V', the bottom part makes me see it as a squished 'Y' but I can't think of a good suggestion for it.. Have you tried a pointed 'V' with a lower terminal a bit like the 'T' stem? (Sorry if that makes no sense..!)
Cheers @Claire Coullon really glad you like it. Don't worry I understand those suggestions perfectly , really good advice. I wanted to avoid using any angled lines in this originally but after struggling with the Z I changed my mind so the V will be an easy change. I also made the S a bit more complicated but when I viewed it with the others it looked too much so I guess I need to find the middle ground (ins't that always the way) Thanks again for you comments.

Letter 'K' seems to be the odd one out. Looks more like a lower case "h" to me.

I agree with @Serji Gold, but other than that, it looks great.

@Chris - Looks good :) I would have to agree, though, the "k" needs some work. Other than that, you did a fantastic job!
