After 3 years, I've begun exploring what a refresh of the current One Mighty Roar logo might look like.
This time through I am aiming to create something that could be used with both vertical and horizontal orientations, unlike our current version. I'm still toying with what a separate mark might look like or if one is even necessary.
I really like it! Just a small mall nitpick. In the vertical version, the "ONE" looks to be aligned slightly further to the right than the other two words.
I see what you did there. Definite improvement from the existing logo. At first glance at yours, I saw headphones in the O. Also, the negative space made at the bottom of the 1 has some visual tension with the M. Looks like it wants to line up with it somehow. Nice touch with the TY tho.
I'd agree, it is surely an improvement! Three thoughts:
-The overall shape is a bit irregular. The right side is ragged and uneven which may be problematic in some uses. What might it look like if the font size/weight wasn't the same for all three words? That might allow the overall containing shape to be more simple.
-The "O" is a bit odd for me. Maybe the 1 could be a bit lighter weight so it doesn't make the O edges as thin?
-Also agree with above comments about the "TY" ligature sort of thing you're doing. I didn't notice the "AR" right away. Not as prominent as the TY. Should it be?

I know it's "One Mighty Roar" but what if the logo was just "1 Mighty Roar"?

One Mighty Roar Mark Concept
by Sam Dunn
Begun playing around with potential marks for the One Mighty Roar rebrand.
This one breaks down into "1MR" (company abbreviation) inside of the M. It's the current office favorite - what do you guys think?
PS. Thanks for all the great feedback on the previous shot, I'm working it into my next revision!
