I think the perspective needs to be adjusted, which is what @Lindsey is responding to. So the NE side of the dots needs to be pried away from the lid some more. Or squashing them diagonally might work. A tough thing to describe! I hope that's clear!
@Andrew Colin Beck 100% vector, any textures are either made in illustrator with effects or live traced textures. Top tip. Open texture in PS, adjust to grayscale, adjust levels so they are extremes of black and white and live trace in AI

Is this stuff all vector? Or do you texturize stuff in photoshop?
