Love the style, love the lettering, love the colour. Only thing bothering me is the texture interfering with the right edges of the 'R'. Superb work man :)
SO good Trent. You seriously just changed my perception of their brand. I didn't know it had such potential. That's the Americana that they've lost right there. I say bring it back.
I love this. I bet they'd be willing to do something like this with their trucks at some point.
I wish they'd at least just drop the blue badge background occasionally on things like their website. That type by itself is still pretty nice. It's the badge that gives me the shivers.
Thanks everybody...
@Jesse Dodds: good thought... agreed
@Amber Costley: Ford really had some great logo versions & badges throughout the years- My favorites being the 60s/70s muscle cars and way back to old 8n tractors.
Yeah, they really did. My Dad had a 50's Ford truck for awhile when I was a kid. It had an emblem sort of like this from what I remember. Thanks for bringing back my warm childhood fuzzies. :)

Ford lettering inspired by the hood emblem on a 1954 Ford Mainline... a pretty sweet ride.

The word "evocative" comes to mind. I see this and immediately sense the stories all around it, the glimpses of people's lives.

Agreed. I drive a 1949 ford and have a 1969 Shelby in the garage. Really dig those old fords. Nice job.

This is pretty, but Ford is the AT&T of automotive.

This is fantastic, Trent. The quality was so good I honestly thought you were redesigning the logo for Ford.
