Hello all,
YouTube+, a new YouTube client for iOS, is in progress. It aims to create a full-featured experience with all that the service offers, for use by casual viewers and content creators alike.
We're working hard on making this app the best it can be, both functionally and visually, and we'd like your help. Much like Sparrow we've come up with a set of potential icons for YouTube+.
Please pick your favorite and leave any thoughts.

Great work! I think I like this one the most (8). Though, I think the screen really has to be horizontal instead of vertical... It just doesn't feel right this way. How does it look like with those 3 buttons on the bottom of the icon? But, great work man! keep rockin'. :)

I would go with #1. Its simple, and very recognizable as being related to YouTube. And while this version is certainly interesting and well done, there are two things that bother me about it: first of all, it has a screen that is in portrait mode, and I have never seen a tv or computer with a screen that is taller than it is wide. Second of all, this icon suggests older tv shows because it is an older looking TV, whereas YouTube is very much a newer thing, and is not quite TV, but something more.

As much as I LOVE #8 (it really is stunning!) it does not communicate the YouTube brand at all. So my vote is for #7, the simplest, easy to recognize, no frills & beautifully executed. Hope this helps :)
