That's the point though isn't it; it's not greater access. It's significantly less access than your regular interaction with a doctor. Having seen the healthcare industry up close, doctors already have a hard enough task diagnosing patients, how does designing without a screen feel? I'll bet it feels the same way as diagnosing a patient without physical interaction.
People can already inform themselves by searching their symptoms online, the rest should be handled, literally, by professionals.
@Alexander Scott - I dont think this is for complicated cases. In Canada you need a family doctor to refer you to a specialist for any complex diagnosis. I'm guessing this is to fill the family doctor role for referrals, obvious prescriptions and refills.
