Lovely.
I agree with everything everyone has said about spacing in PRAY, I love the type choices. Maybe just tapering the tail end of the last s in Stars it seems weird being kind of blocked at the end now.
Sacha, you'd be surprised how much pressure they are under and what they go through behind closed doors. Sometimes, they too, are forgotten. But that's besides the point since I'm simply the designer. :-)
I thought about that and love the idea but was kind of blank as to what I could do with it. I'll think of some options.
@Sacha about why would "the stars" need prayer? Think of it this way: the way we treat celebrities in the US is more like being a god in other cultures. Plus the world revolves around many of them - or at least many think it does. So if you think you are god and you are not, and you think the world revolves around you (when it does not), you def need prayer. :-)
Little tounge in cheek there, but seriously if you look to the Scriptures for truth, they would unpack it this way: those in this world who are TRULY blessed are not those who are rich, powerful, and beautiful, but those who are rich in faith, love, compassion, gentleness and whose heart and inner spirit is lovely. And most often they happen to be the poor of this world, powerless, and (outwardly) unattractive.

I've been working on a logo concept for a cool project. The goals were: typographic & not churchy (though it is related to prayer).
Logos are not my strength so I welcome all feedback.

I LOVE THIS. I would prob make "FOR THE" a tad bit thicker. Other than that this is beautiful. Cant wait to see it in action.

Nice one Gedy.
'Stars' feels like it could be nudged up a wee bit, or maybe done all lower-case, and the kerning on 'PRAY' needs a bit of work..

I'd tighten up the kerning between the r and the p and space it out between the r and the a.

The new version looks great Gedy.
This makes me curious as to what type of "stars;" Movie Stars? Porn Stars? Pawn Stars? Actual stars? All of the above? :)

Nice typography, but why would the stars need us to pray for them? Seems to me they have it pretty good already…
Also, it might be a little cliché, but maybe you could try referencing the Walk of Fame by adding an actual star somewhere?

How about putting the "for the" inside a star shape? Although the logo is already perfectly fine like this.
