   It was pretty hard to find a good metaphor for a REST API icon. Ended up with this Parse Cloud to which you can "plug" your app.

   Something about the edges looks off to me. Also, the socket's perspective is a tad-bit off.

   I removed some details on the connector, as the icon is used in smaller sizes on the website. I probably should have left the details on the bigger view here, sorry about that.

   I'll see what I can do with the socket perspective. Thanks for your feedback guys ;)
