Again, still really just a logo concept i.e. not quite fully applicable in its current state > But I wanted to play with the 'chevron' a bit more, give it some shine, etc.
The only thing I'm worried about is that it's trying to be too many things at once (a ribbon, a chevron, a cross). Also, a nit-pick: the shadows seem reversed to where the ribbon would be raised.
@Brian Carroll - Cheers buddy! You know I'm always down for a good thrashing ;)
There's definitely a few things going on there...let alone the '4e'... And yeah, those shadows are in need of a rework > admittedly I got a little preoccupied with all those shiny bits ;)
I'll keep playing with it...and maybe we'll actually end up with a viable logo mark...
Yeah > truly this is more on an 'icon' vs a logo at the moment... Again, still working on it > Obviously would need to translate well to B/W, etc. Thanks a lot for the comments guys! :)

OH MAN!
Ok, so I know this has been called "4e" but until you just said that, it didn't really hit me. In a good way, though! Clever!
So, between the 4e and the 3F logo - your goal, as a designer, is to logo through the whole alphabet, huh? ;)

Isn't this a bit kitsch? Overdesigned, btw that white version was better.

Yeah the red, white, and blue was better. Too many gradients, drop shadows, etc. The other has a beautiful simplicity. :)
