Here's the new version with a comparison overlay from the last one in a red stroke (big version attached again, with comparison, also)…we'll just say I changed a few things. :)
Great improvements, Ryan! To all of the above-mentioned - Respect for the superb feedback. This is how Dribbble should be used. Feel the love and absorb the knowledge!
@Simon Ålander - You know, I did play with that a lot early on because I thought the same thing, but when I made that smaller, it felt unbalanced with the other side. But that was when the upper loop of the 'k' was a lot bigger. I'll have to play with that some more now that things are a bit lighter on the right side.
late for the other one, great improvements here;
I agree with @Simon Ålander about that loop also feel it could be thinner, also another thing that feels a bit too thick for me is the R swash, right before it gets connected with the H, i feel that portion could be thinner a bit. Cheers!
Wow, terrific updates. It's great to be able to see that overlay directly on top, so many changes! (I've also just spent far too long watching it switch between the two). Great revision the 'n' in particular, you've maintained its beautiful shape and curvature but it no longer looks like it's trying to squish your last name. Really expressive piece overall and seconding @Simon about the pat on the back!
Firstly, what were you doing awake at 2:00 AM!? Secondly, it's amazing what the little details will do. This version looks so much more open, reads better, and more balanced, just with small changes. Great stuff!
@Joseph Alessio - Shoot, I was up 'til like 3:30. Why? Who the hell knows, lol. And yeah, it's funny. When I was working on it, it didn't feel like I was doing much of anything, and then when I put that overlay over it, I was like Whaaaa?!? :)

Have you tried to make the "y-H" loop a little bit smaller/thinner? I think it looks too heavy as it is right now. Just a thought.

Well, this is already a solid signature with a lot of character. You should definitely pat yourself on the back!

@Simon Ålander & @Florin Capota - I'm not going to just keep posting this thing all weekend, but I played with the 'y' a bit more and I love it now. Better? - http://ha.mrick.me/HnUk
