Each year I design my girlfriend something for her birthday. This year I thought a monogram set would be appropriate and something I could use in the future to create more personalised items.
I wanted to infuse each monogram with a sense of craft and tradition with a contemporary mono-line weight twist and subtle, humanist imperfections. These were then reflected through the colour palette, material choices, graphic design and, in a bid to avoid stamps (I did that last year), opted for stickers and labels to repack her favourite brands.
Oh Rich, you know I've got a weakness to the line work. I must say that the blue(Z letter) and red(square causing chaos) one didn't got me, but the other ones...green reminds me of some sort of stamper, and the numbers outside is great. Yellow one is even better, mainly because of the Z fitting really nicely into the circle.
Each by itself would be a well-balanced good monogram, but the real genius is in how you created a series. Lovely, clean work like I've come to expect from you.
I was curious to see what you'd do for this (especially after the fantastic implementation of last year's piece), these look fantastic. I completely agree with what @Yael said about them working perfectly as a series as well, so nicely done.

Blue & Pink one are amazing! I particularly like these because they're my initials!
