Working on a cool web app and think I should share the top navigation style. Actually I have a bunch of ideas for top nav style and thinking which way I should go. I really need your opinion on this. Let me know what do you think about this SLEEKY one?

Nice design. I think the sleek is compromising with the confidence of the design. It creates a slight bloated feeling to me. and the briefcase icon is overly complex (the shape) I'll use a rather simple briefcase icon. And finally it lacking a bit contrast from the usability perspective. Otherwise everything is so cool to me and waiting for the complete shots :)

This doesn't feel like a web app, maybe its because its out of context.. but this feels like a hacked version of an instagram styled bar. Also the profile part seems a bit crowded. Overall good design
