Here is my submission to the Dead words project. Just finished with the handmade part, now I have to scan the baby and probably go for some long cleaning in photoshop. Will definitely work more on this pencil+ink mix, I think some really interesting results can get out of it. What do you think ?

The more I look at this the more I have less to say haha. Seriously you are a master at flourishes and details. I think I'm going to come back and look at this many more times, okay maybe stare is more precise, it's both depressing and highly inspiring to look at.

This is absolutely lovely! How long did you spend on it? Interesting take on 'r' and the last 'l'. I love how you're using pencil to add dimension where pen wouldn't work so well, it really gives it an interesting feel. Nice stuff!

I read the comments before looking at the shot properly or the attachments so I was expecting something amazing.. but not THAT amazing. Mind boggling details, shading, curves..

@Joseph I always let some time between each important step so I can stand back a little and think about the best way not to screw everything I've just done, but I think this one took me like 10 hours to do, maybe a bit more as I didn't really count
