This is a bit of hand drawn text that I did for a music festival in my home town, the "Roots" Festival. I drew the text with a large marker, then vectorized it in AI. I will be putting up the event poster that I have been working on soon...

@Zack Smith I personally always love the “human touch” that hand written type brings to a design element. Where I think it often fails is when we attempt to make the letterforms perfect (I have been guilty of that myself) which tends to make the final piece feel drawn and intentional. This looks imperfect enough to be perfect, if that makes any sense.

@Erik Ford: Absolutely, was intentional. =) I appreciate the feedback. I think that you might enjoy the poster... a lot of hand drawn elements, trial and error with sharpies, etc. I didn't have near the timeline that I would have liked to, but... I don't hate it. Will be up soon... Thanks, man!
