Although I did do quite a bit of research and due diligence on this type of mark before even showing it to the client, I seem to have missed that one.
I know the 3D-cube design is nothing completely new. And believe me, I was a bit reluctant to even tread on these waters, but I think my solution is a unique take on the handling of the initial and the form of the letter. Furthermore, by putting the mark in the context of a more retro badge setting and subdued color palette, I believe it separates the two logos even more.
