Logo concept for an educational resource.
Mark is BOOK+WAVES+PAGES+PEN+SHIP+SAILS.
I'm uploading this to get much needed feedback how it's possible to improve and take this further.

awesome. props to anyone who can knock out a solid 1 color mark.
only thing that kinda throws me off is the distance of the tagline. but thats a miniscule issue.

great mark Dalius, hmm seems clients like working with more than one designer these days..it's the same project i suppose that @Claire Coullon and @Michael Spitz collaborated on.

I agree with @Nick Quebbeman about the tagline distance other than that, you NAILED it right on the head with a GIANT HAMMER!

@Nick Quebbeman @Modisana Hlomuka cheers guys, it's actually the same distance as between the mark and main text. I guess that's just an optical illusion. I'll try to position these things by eye next time :)

@Dalius Stuoka I'm not sure if others do this, but I like to cover the mark up when putting the name/tagline together. If they have an application for it without the mark the gap might seem a bit large.
I think the illusion is because that little dark spot in the texture filling the area.
