Client wants 3" x 3" business cards and they will most likely be letter pressed. Because of the square proportions I thought the diamond shape could be fun.

It's great to see this, your lettering looks fantastic. As others have said, the diamond shape is such a nice touch – looks distinctive and also perfectly suited to the overall logo shape.
Personally I have no problem with the phone number positioning, as having it bigger might make the numbers too prominent (as they naturally appear slightly bigger anyway). I would however consider shifting the logo + tagline up a little as while the logo itself looks perfectly centered, the text below makes everything feel a bit too low down.
