For a friend of mine that's a chartered accountant and about to start her own company. the background pattern is made up of tiny little t's & i's to represent the dotting of i's and crossing of t's. early stages.

Love the concept behind the background pattern Matt, really clever! Would be cool to see that incorporated into the 'i' in the fluid type; which by the way is really goood.

@Giorgio Pia I'm assuming it's custom drawn.
This one looks fantastic Matt. The consistent line weight of the lettering is a great call, it lets you create a distinctive contrast with the 'Accounting' line while keeping everything feeling cohesive. Wonderful colour palette too.
I'd suggest some slight optical adjustments on the 'f' to lighten up the areas where two strokes cross, as it's feeling overall a little darker/heavier than the other letters. Love the symmetry with the loops though.

@Claire Coullon Thanks as always for your feedback. I've since taken on board your advice and narrowed all the horizontal strokes a fraction and I think it's weighted much better now. thanks a bunch! oh yeah, let me explain the orange, the client has lovely red hair and I thought it would be a nice connection to make her logo more personal. Her personal attention to her clients will be a strong key value to her company.

Ah nice, love the reasoning behind the orange. I forgot to mention in my original comment, but I was thinking how it's interesting how the lettering has a such an organic, hand drawn quality and yet it doesn't look at all jarring with the subject. The balance with the company name no doubt goes a long way towards that. Nicely done again.

@Matt Vergotis - Another good one buddy! Your script style suits the name perfectly.
Just watch out that the T's don't look like little crosses. Although I suppose - Death and Taxes!

@Simon™ yes mate, totally agree. i did see that when I was doing it and thought maybe they'd be small enough to pass (probably more a case of digging my head in the sand). but i know how to resolve that... I might whack on a terminal. bosh! thanks for the feedback brother.
