Again this year the Robocat guys and I have managed to throw together our vision of a great festival app. With a streamlined music program (offline support), a personalized timeline, picture sharing and tons of artist info we think it's a pretty darn good vision.
Even if you're not attending this years biggest nordic Festival, give it a download and check it out. It's free:
The App icon looks great, Michael. But I don't think the graphical expression corresponds very well with the traditional line of branding for the festival. Any thoughts on this?
None the less, cool icon. My ticket just arrived today... See you next week. ;-)
@Mads Ejsing That's actually a big part of this app. Since we are in no way affiliated or paid by the festival we've decided to create more of a robocat-interpreted design rather than sticking to the old Roskilde branding. In many ways this app is our way of showing how we believe it should be done, and that includes a fresh look at how we're presenting things. So in short, it's meant to be a departure from the traditional branding. :)
@Michael Flarup – I love the overall polish of the app. There is one thing bugging me though, that is that you changed the standard font for both the submit button, as well as the comment text-field. It just looks out of place. (Also, you need to check your line-height on that one, the comment textfield should be moved down 2-3 pixels with that font)

@Michael Flarup the pictures on the site for some reason keep "blinking" in a loop unless you reload the site, there might be a JS bug

@Michael Flarup Ah, my bad. I figured it was the app-icon for the official Roskilde app... Damn me, for not paying enough attention.
What you are saying makes perfect sense now, by the way.
... And I am sure your app will kick the official one's ass! :-)
