Final navigation for the upcoming Quad project. The icons were created by Kyle and myself and we're very pleased with how the project is progressing. View the full-size here.

Great colour combinations, super clean Shaun!
Clean. I dig the yellow notification bubble.
Really love this.
Maybe this would be more apparent when using the app… but whats the difference between the two comment bubble plus square notification and the one comment bubble notification?
Love how clean it is.
@Anthony Lagoon Being an education platform there are certain notifications that are class based (messages) and those that are specific to the user. The ones over the message icon are global while the one next to the user drop-down are per the user.
Great colour combinations! Love it! :)
Nice & clean.
i love that :)
Please check my works sometimes :)
Love the simple color combination. The contrast makes the icons easy to see and recognize. My only feedback would be to inset the profile pic to match the search box styling. Maybe it's is a personal preference, but I feel like those 2 elements should be consistent. Same thing on the notification bubbles...add a drop shadow to the "7" bubble to match the "2" bubble.
Great job on this and the other shots on this project...especially the shirt!
Good job like always @Shaun. Love the simplicity!
Also, I'm glad they chose you for the project! So keen to see what amazing ideas you come up with on this :)
So simple. Really love this!
Really nice dude, fan of the student icon but not of the calendar icon. Great works !
Love the colors! Only thing that could perhaps use some more thought is the graduation/student icon. It looks a bit puny compared to the other two icons. Have you thought about just a graduation hat? Because it's a more solid/heavy shape it might look better next to the other two icons. Just thinking out loud
Best pixel mixer for me. Great work again bro.
I like its subtlety, the colours match nicely and it's not heavy on the eyes. I can see some odd white artefacts appearing here and there but I blame it on JPG compression.
I like the icons, very well made and I can see your attention to details, cause you have probably aligned the pixels yourself, not just relying on resize tool :)
Great work, Shaun, just make sure to use PNGs to give us proper details! :)
Definitely like it on the dark bg a little better, but great work either way!
I like this.
Critique: Maybe try rounded corners on the *messages* icon to suit the other icons.
@Stuart Regan Yes, definitely agree. The stroke was accidentally moved to the inside before taking this shot. Here's the intended view: http://shn.mn/Hj1i
keyboard shortcuts: ← previous shot → next shot L or F like
