The past couple of months I have been working on the expression project with @Justin Pervorse and @Tyrick Christian. We started this process to just make special badges (aka hats) for clients we liked that use MC (dribbble, smashingmag). However, it started to evolve into something larger.
The more I played with the current shapes of freddie in illustrator the more confined I felt. So I rebuilt it minus the gradients, some new shapes and line work. The whole propose of this exercise was to create more freedom with our mascot to allow more expression for our brand. Now I just have to settle on a body. . . . eep

These are amazing.
Love the redneck cap. Reminds me of my uncle.
These are great! R.I.P. shiny Freddie.
Love these @Seriousron™ looking good
very cool ;)
These are cool, but I still prefer the shiny gradient look. It just has a much more polished look, and looks amazing and eye-grabbing on the website.
I saw the helmet on the status twitter. Dig
@Seriousron™ nice idea!

Another addition to the expression project. This is an ongoing project with @Seriousron™ and @Tyrick Christian here at MC. Had a lot of fun with this one.
