   @Dave Coleman Just playing around here for fun :) Took the already finished graphics for the animation into Photoshop, did a color negative and masked it in these letters. Visually this has very little to do with how the animation will look in the end. The final image is a green jungle with a dude cutting his way through it with a large machete :p

   @Joaquim Y'know what typeface I'm really diggin' now? Akzidenz Grotesk. So far I won't go back to Helvetica Neue, Akzidenz is forever fresh and exciting :)

    @Louis Bullock I think they both have great qualities, but man that Akzidenz Grotesk — Bold Condensed is pretty sweet. Reminds me a bit of Trade Gothic — Bold Condensed 20:

    I like the top J better and the bottom G better :p

    @Joaquim Definitely, I find some characters like the question mark in Akzidenz are a little odd, and almost don't suit the other characters.

    I agree, the top J is much stronger and the bottom G is to die for.

    There's nothing I hate more than a weak G without the arrow, like those ones that look like a really odd C.

    Width-wise in comparison to the other letters, the G of Trade Gothic is a tad too small in my opinion, I mean look at that E! :)

    All inspiring stuff.

    I plan to create my own typeface soon, keep your eyes peeled :D
