   Wow, great idea! Question: is it important that people be able to tell where you're address is by looking at this? If so, would it make sense to lose a bit of the glow and show a bit more of the map underneath?

    I fiddled around without using that glow, but then there was this hard edge around the orb and map.

    @Vincent Koopmans Maybe try losing the glow, and adding and oval shadow under the circle to make it look like its sitting on the map.

    (just an idea though!)
